Young hens (pullets) for sale. A rare Heritage breed, Hamburghs are fantastic layers, and very pretty.
Hamburghs are not a heavy-bodied bird, so do not eat a huge amount of feed. They lay beautiful white eggs, and are excellent layers. You can expect a Heritage Breed hen to lay for approximately 8 years, compared to 3 years for a "Black, Brown or White" chicken from a produce store.
The parents of these birds have been successfully shown at the Brisbane Royal Show, "The Ekka".
Vaccinated for Mareks & Fowl Pox.
